Often described as a “classy lady”, Fran was a gracious and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, as well as a wonderful friend to all who knew her. She grew gorgeous roses and her yard displayed her careful attention and fondness for gardening. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her Swedish heritage gave her many opportunities to share special baked goods and foods. Fran was an avid golfer; she and Carroll spent many afternoons pursuing their shared love of the sport. She and Carroll also enjoyed every opportunity to get out on the dance floor. Fran’s beautiful water color paintings, needlework projects and sewing skills displayed her love of art. She was always generous in giving away the lovely things she had made. Her greatest joy was time spent with family. She especially loved spending time with her great grandchildren, who called her Lillemor. She developed a special bond with them and always had a smile and treat to give when they came to visit.
Fran will be missed so very much by all whose lives she touched. Her love and dedication to family and friends is a legacy that is inspiring and will live on by all who knew her.
