On March 12, 2018 she lost her short but fierce battle with cancer. She was 69.
Linda attended Ferris High School and worked at Incyte Diagnostics for the last 25 years.
On Oct. 17, 2006 Linda married the love of her life, Jay Wisdom. Her love of life is carried on by her husband Jay Wisdom of Spokane, Sister Diane Moore of Spokane, her sons; Steve Awbery and his wife Amy of Spokane, Michael Awbery and his wife Heather of Spokane, daughter Amanda Mckee of Spokane and stepson Michael Wisdom and his wife Camille of Spokane.
Her grandchildren are Caden Gene, Libby and Jordan Awbery, of Spokane, step grandchildren Colin and Garyson Wisdom of Spokane, her nephew Shane Nelson and his wife Jeninne and Eric M Carlson as well as numerous friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and her sister Edna M Clark (Edie)
Linda was known as “mom” by more than one of her co-workers and friends. She had a personality that was larger than life. She spoke her mind and always had a shoulder to lean on. Linda enjoyed taking week long vacations on the back of her husband’s Valkyrie all over the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, living life to the fullest.
She led a very full and active life, full of amazing memories and experiences.
On March 20, 2018 at 1-4pm there will be a viewing open to the public at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA
A memorial service will be held at the same location on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 1pm. The family would like to have all join them for a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Community Cancer Fund in Linda’s name.
