I have the same memories as Nancy. Auntie Lois was so loving and playful with us kids. I remember the hot-dog game on that mattress swing, which involved her tracing a line on my back. I had to guess how many fingers she used. (At least I think that's how it went; after 60 years, I could be mistaken.) 

Then there were the picnics, learning how to water ski (sort of), watching Uncle John catch some very impressive salmon, jumping in the lake to wash off the dust and heat. Such heavenly memories.

I am so sad to hear of Auntie Lois's death.  I remember visiting the lake as a child with her and Uncle John and my sister and folks, back in the early 60's.  The best summers ever!!  They had a boxspring tied between two trees, like a huge and wonderful hammock.  I remember clinging to it for dear life as dad pushed us higher and higher, with Lois and me and sister Marcia laughing our heads off! Such good times, and such a good Aunt.  

Leska, Raelene, Argus--I am so sorry.  I hope your good memories will heal the hurt.
