

Lyndon F. Lynch was born on June 15, 1941 in Gainseville, TX. He grew up in Sherman, TX and graduated from Sherman High School in 1959, and from East Texas State College in 1964 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 1986. After this he worked for Keytronics in Cheney, WA and Spokane, WA from 1987-2000.
Lyndon met Karen Meta Niemeyer, the love of his life, while stationed at Geiger Air Force base in Spokane County, WA. They married in 1970 and went on to have three children. Lyndon was an avid fisherman, gardener and woodworker, and in earlier years enjoyed taking his family on camping excursions and sightseeing around the nation’s parks and historical monuments. During his military service he was stationed in Washington, Alaska, New York, California, Montana, Colorado, Louisiana, and Florida. He also served in Bitburg, Germany for several years.
Lyndon is survived by his children Vicki (and Naaman) Pallo, Kim James, and Brian Lynch, his grandchildren Ashley and Alvin Chak, Caitlin and Darrell Klein, Lucas James, Jonah James, Carina Pallo, and Madelyn Pallo. He is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren, Ruby and Jax Klein, and Matthias, Eleanor, and Timothy Chak, his mother-in-law Doris Niemeyer as well as numerous cousins and other family members.
A viewing is scheduled at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for those that would like to pay respects. A private memorial at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake will follow.
