Marie Josephine Gorman

Our dear mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Spokane, WA. Marie was born on December 9, 1922 in Oakesdale, Washington to Clarence and Dena Mae Green. She lived most of her life in Spokane Valley, as a housewife and mother. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading, being a mom, and spending time at Seven Bays where she and her husband, Jack, relaxed on weekends. Marie is survived by her children, Donna (Dave) Van Tine, Pat (Connie) Gorman, and Susan (Truman) Smith, as well as eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Jack Gorman, her son, Richard Blair, her brothers, Ben Green, Bob Green, and her sister, Ruby Hart Adams. A visitation for Marie will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2PM until 5PM. A funeral service will be held at

Ball & Dodd Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11am. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery in the Spokane Valley. A special thank you to all the people who cared for our mom and grandma at Manor Care, where she has resided for the last 13 and a half years. She will be forever loved and missed.
