My mom, Laura Owen, and Marge were friends for over 70 years. I share the same name and birthday of Marge's oldest daughter, Kathleen, and the same nickname, I might add, "Kak". I, my mom, and sister Jennifer have fond memories of the years our family travelled from our Seattle WA home to visit the Sims family at their home on Dalton. We have plenty of funny home movies too! Laura and Marge were across the state from each other but we would bring Mom over the mountains to visit as often as we could. This photo is my favorite and probably the last time they saw each other, April 2016. My mom is at a loss for words right now, but I think she would like to add "Rest in peace, dear friend, I love you and miss you." Sending hugs and love to you all! Love, Little "Kak" and family
