GULL, Patricia Leat. – Passed away peacefully Thursday, January 27, 2022. Pat was born March 14, 1931, in Spokane, to John Elbert and Irva (Magart) Kirkpatrick. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1949 and married Lyle M. Domrese later that year. They had two children, Larry and Cindy. After high school she worked briefly at Spokane and Eastern Bank and early during her first marriage at the Top Hat Restaurant on East Sprague. For most of her life she was a mother and homemaker involved in all the typical activities; PTA, Room Mother at the kids’ school, Den Mother for Cub Scouts, and she taught Sunday School for a time at Hays Park Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting and was a gifted seamstress. In 1964 she married W. Jay Gull. They had one son, Jim. She was a compassionate person who had a sense of others and felt reasons she should connect with certain people. Often she would discover a way she could help or provide needed support. Together she and Jay enjoyed camping on the islands of Priest Lake, Idaho and at Marshall Lake Resort. In 1981 she began working at Climate Control, later Airefco, a wholesale distributor of heating and cooling systems. She started in the Literature Room, advanced to Receptionist, retiring as Office Manager in 1996.
