Ralph "Sonny" Ethredge

Ralph “Sonny” Ethredge (age 55) entered into heaven November 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Patty Ethredge of Colbert, WA; son, Jerramie Ethredge (wife, Molly) of Spokane, WA; daughter Malia Ethredge (Abraham Woods) of Spokane; two stepchildren, Cody Stuart of Colbert, Tiffany Wagner (husband, Seth) of Wilbur, WA; two grandchildren, Kylie Mae Ethredge, Wrangler Wagner; sister, Shelley Tindle (husband, Jim) of Spokane; niece, Cim Tindle of Spokane; great niece, Gracie; two great nephews, Conner and Anderson; and mother-in-law, Betty “Muzzer”. Sonny was born July 10, 1956 in Spokane and has been a lifetime resident of the area. He graduated from Rogers High School (1974) and served 18 years as a firefighter/EMT with Spokane County Fire District 4. Sonny worked at Kaiser-Mead for 25 years, later becoming a medical assistant and working at the Spokane CHAS Clinic the past eight years. Sonny selflessly dedicated his life to serving his community. He created a rippling effect of love and true compassion to all the lives that he touched. Sonny was a truly humble hero who's impact will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral home, 1306 N. Monroe St. in Spokane. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3720 E. Colbert Rd. in Colbert, WA. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9706 N. Division St. in Spokane. Per Sonny's request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CHAS Clinic, 203 N. Washington, #300, Spokane 99201.
