Randy was born on November 1st in Ontario, OR and graduated from Meridian High school in 1967. He earned his degree in Audiology at Spokane Community College in 2004.
Randy wore quite a few hats in his lifetime. He was an electrician, a meat cutter, and a grocer. He also had many hobbies- his business card collection numbered in the tens of thousands. In 1996 he transferred to Spokane, Washington to work for Agilent Technologies. It was then that he met the love of his life and best friend Flora Wright; they were married in 1998. Upon retirement Randy volunteered for the Spokane Police Department.
As a father Randy spent quality time playing games, camping, and reading with his children. Randy was a loving father and a loyal friend who had a significant impact on many people. His most defining characteristic was his sense of humor. Randy would often stop a complete stranger and tell them a joke. He brightened every room that he entered.
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to keep Randy’s legacy alive by taking the time to tell a joke and enjoy a good laugh. Donations can be made in his honor to the Spokane Police department K-9 unit.
