I will always remember Mr. Chavez and his amazing support throughout my playing days at Central Valley.  Before every single game he was one of the faces I looked for in the crowd and after every game he was one of those who always made me feel like a champion no matter what.  Mr. Chavez would recognize me out on my long runs every morning throughout the Spokane Valley even though I would be covered head to toe and would stop and talk to me.  He was by far one of the greatest supporters during my basketball career at CV.  His presence will be missed immensely by all who knew him.  He truly was a wonderful and genuinely amazing man.  My thoughts and prayers to the Chavez Family.  May Mr. Chavez' memory be eternal!

It brings a smile to my face just seeing Robert's picture here. He was a great man, respected father figure to so many that were not even his own children, and lived a life all about serving Christ & family. He has known me since I was born, through my childhood, and continued to be a part of my life as I married & had my own children. I consider him family, a coach, & I am blessed to have had him in my life. I hold so many dear memories of Robert. He was such a loving, busy, and hilarious man whom will dearly be missed. Shirley & family, you are in my thoughts & prayers. I send you all my love, especially today, and forever. May God be with you.

Bob was a true friend and one of my favorite people, he will be missed by many. Condolences to Shirley and family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
