So many memories of Bear and Moose. I loved growing up next to them. Roy was always so kind to us girls AKA Tony’s little sisters. This family was just like family to me. Oyster soup (yuk) but all the same family time was good. RIP Bear you will be missed by so many

A sweet little brother--what a heart wrenching loss.

I grew up next to Roy and his family. One of my favorite memories was how Roy and Monty were so nice to us little kids (there were 5 of us!), always following them around, wanting to play basketball with them in the driveway. We would even play at being cheerleaders for them! Then they built a cement half basketball court "out back" and they said we could play out there any time we wanted (except when they were playing a game with their friends).
Roy also helped us kids pick pie cherries over the fence by pulling the branches down low enough for us to reach... but I'm not sure if he ever told his mom that!
Vi and John raised some amazing boys. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I loved Roy and married him in 1973. We parted ways but I will never forget my first love. My heart is broken and I feel for Vi. I am so sorry for you lost and mine. God bless Roy. Joann (Self).

I worked with Roy AKA bear for 32 years. I miss him so much especially at 5:30 in the morning on work days we would sit and talk about the day ahead or things that were happening in our lives. I will miss helping him lay out his gigantic tent upstairs after his winter hunting trips so it could dry out, and then helping him fold it back up . What I will miss most every day at work is seeing his coffee drops in the morning everywhere he went because he preferred to take the lid off, we joked about it all the time.
