

Rozanne passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 95. She was born in Spokane, WA to Aubrey K and Mabel Sheely on February 19, 1927. She had two younger siblings, Patrick W Sheely and Patricia Conley, twins, now deceased. She also had a stepmother, Madolyn Sheely (deceased) and a stepsister, Shirley Lowe of Veneta, OR.
She graduated from Lewis & Clark High School and Washington State University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and Theta Sigma Phi journalism honorary.
She married Thomas “Bud” Beil of Spokane in 1949 and was active in their business, Ray Beil Lumber in Hillyard for several years before his death in 1977. They had two children, Tom M. Beil (Molly) of Spokane and Kathy B. Robinson (Paul) of Kirkland, WA.
She then worked in dealer banking at Seattle First National Bank (B of A) where she met and married Gerald “Jerry” Winters, a retired career Marine, in 1983. She later retired after 10 years in Student Services at Spokane Community College.
She was a past member of the Civic Theater board and the Lilac Festival board. She loved family gatherings at their Newman Lake cabin. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, and played bridge and mahjong.
Survivors include her husband Jerry, two children Tom and Kathy, and three stepdaughters: Gerie Heard (Dirk) of La Connor, WA, Terie Lord (David) and Sherie Heimbigner of Spokane. She had 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member, on Friday, April 22 at 11am. The service will also be live streamed and can be viewed at www.hamblenpres.org/live-stream. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church scholarship fund at S 4102 Crestline, Spokane WA 99203. The family would like to thank Touchmark Retirement, and Hospice of Spokane for their excellent care.
