Shirleen Nana Mardell Lund Greenwood

Shirleen Greenwood (age 79) entered into rest with her Lord June 11, 2011. She was born May 8, 1932 in Hooker Township, Nebraska to Ole and Kristina (Karlsgodt) Lund. A longtime resident of Spokane, Mrs. Greenwood worked for many years in food service at Whitworth College, attended First Church of the Nazarene, and most recently volunteered at Regency @ Northpointe. However, her greatest occupation was that of MOM. She is survived by her five children and their families: daughter, Pamela Thorson and her children Brandon and Desiree; daughter, Deborah Martinez (Richard) and her children, Lisa, Lori and Matthew, as well as Lisa’s children, Justin and Arianna; daughter, Michelle Tynan (Craig) and her children, Christopher, Reagan and Bryan, as well as Christopher’s children Ethan and Aiden, and Reagan’s daughter, Paisley; son, Michael Greenwood (Kim) and his children, Tara and Jenna; daughter, Janine Deponty and her children, Joshua, Jennifer, Sara, Ryan and Ashley, as well as Jennifer’s children, Issac and Juliana. She is also survived by her very special canine companions, Tucker, Brooklyn and Kali. A memorial service is being planned for family and close friends.
