Sue Ehama passed away at home on September 19, 2010 with family by her side. She was born in Oregon to Asayo and Yukichi Heyamoto. She is survived by her children, Les Ehama and Dr. Elizabeth Ehama Roukema; brother, George Heyamoto; sister, Aiko Minata; and numerous nieces and nephews. After retiring from Eastern Washington University, she and her friends traveled throughout the world. Sue was a longtime member of the Indian Canyon Women’s Golf Club and always spoke of the members with affection. She was also an avid bridge player. Sue was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and wished to thank all her friends for their help and caring. Her family would also like to thank the many lifelong friends and neighbors who gave and received love. According to her wishes, no memorial services will be held.
