

Sue Fong passed away at home July 17,2013. Sue was born in Canton China to parents, Yat Ing Ng and Mee Gee Fong. She married Chuck Fong in China in 1955. They immigrated to the United States in 1970 with Sue's two grown sons Sam Fong and Ken Fong from a previous marriage. Sue and Chuck Fong moved to San Francisco where they happily resided together until 2004 when they moved to Spokane Washington to be closer to her family. She became a U.S. citizen in 1995. Sue was a hardworking seamstress for over two decades for a manufacturing company in San Francisco. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy & achievement was her family, all of who will miss her greatly!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Fong and her Daughter-in-Law, Wendy (In Wan) Fong.
Left to cherish her memory are son's, Sam Fong of Spokane, Washington; Ken Fong and his wife, Gloria Fong of Cd'A, Idaho; and her grandchildren by Sam and Wendy; Michael, Genna and Joanne Fong.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. At 11:00 A.M.there will be a Funeral Service in her honor at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Avenue, Spokane with Rev. Y.S. Lai officiating. Committal Services and interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane.
