Suzanne Marie Patterson

Suzanne Marie Patterson was born September 25, 1963, in Glasgow, Montana to parents John and Doris Sherwood. She and her family lived in all parts of Montana, her dad working on construction sites. She moved to Washington in 1969 where she spent her elementary school years. She moved to Spokane in 1973 where she finished her schooling, with a brief break when she and her family moved to Bridgeport, Washington.

She graduated from East Valley high school in Spokane Valley. She attended Christine's beauty school, graduated, and spent the rest of her life working in Teresa and Company beauty shop, where she made many, many friends.

She married the love of her life, Pete Patterson, on April 28, 2001, with all her family and friends surrounding her. They had a son, Justin James, who is her mini me in every way.

She devoted her entire life to her family and her fur baby Asta, whom she walked faithfully through the hot and cold, snow and ice.

She fought that horrible disease, ovarian cancer, with everything she had for three years, but in the end, she lost the fight. She passed peacefully with all her family by her bedside.

She is survived by her husband: Pete Patterson, son: Justin, parents: John “Bud” and Doris Sherwood, brother: John Sherwood, Miami, Florida, sister: Stacie Sherwood-Crites, nephews: Trevor Sherwood and Scott Crites, niece: Heather Bosio, great nephew: Justin Formanek. Preceded in death by older sister, Mary Sherwood.

A celebration of life will take place on July 24, 2021, at 5214 N. Darin Rd. Otis Orchards, Washington. Feel free to drop in between 2 PM and 4 PM.
