Willard was a close friend of the Alkire family and he was so very loved.  We are so sad to hear about his passing.

I spent some of my favorite days of my life up at Ruby Creek hunting and fishing with Willard.  Just happened to be back in Spokane this week and was informed of his passing.    He will be missed by many.   Joe Stumph 

I will always have fond memories of Willard, from the time we lived next door to him, to the hunting trips with him, seeing his gun collection, and when he allowed my new wife and newborn son to live in the upstairs apartment in his home. 

A very gracious and kind man.
