Cathleen Mary Rhinehart

Cathleen “Cathie” Rhinehart, of Trego, was born on January 7, 1950 in Rhinelander, WI to parents, John and Vivian (Kassien) Walker. Cathie passed away after a short battle with cancer on January 9, 2013 at her home.

Cathie attended school in Boulder Junction and Minocqua, WI. She attended Lake Land High School, White Water Community college 1968 – 1969 and also Nicholete Community College in Rhinelander, WI from 1970 – 1971. Cathie married Kenneth “Jerry” Rhinehart on November 11, 1976.

Cathie loved her family, friends, animals, knitting, crocheting, needle point, reading and being with people. She worked as a store clerk, did office work and ran a drive-in restaurant. For the last 6 years, she worked at the Hayward Kwik Trip in food service.

Cathie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jerry of Trego; step-daughter, Michelle of Sun Prairie, WI; step-grandchildren, Cheyene and Max; her mother, Vivian Hunt of Boulder Junction, WI; step-mother, Ann Weldon of Hayward, WI; sister, Joni (Myk) Hensley of Boulder Junction, WI; brothers, Scott (Lynn) Hunt of Denver CO, Randy (Peggy) Hunt of Denver, CO, Jim (Ann) Hunt of Minocqua, WI and Larry Walker of Hayward, WI; sister-in-law, Carol (Pat Kena) Babcock of Wisconsin Dells, WI; brothers-in-law, Chris Rhinehart of Adams, WI, George (Ernelle) Rhinehart of Spooner, WI and Larry Rhinehart of Adams, WI; Many nieces, nephews and friends and special friends at Kwik Trip, Lisa, Julie, Jeanie and Beverly.

She will be missed by all. There will be a memorial service later in the spring.
