
David Allen Stumph was born on December 12, 1952 in Spooner Wisconsin the son of Raymond and Irene Stumph. He attended Spooner High School. He had employment at Toro, Press-on, and Stresau R Laboratory Inc. He lived in Spooner most of his life. Despite has various medical conditions; he enjoyed raising his son and speaking with his daughter and grandchildren on the phone daily. His lifetime best friend, Kenny Christner, and his many family and friends enabled David to live a fuller quality of life, with good memories for him to cherish throughout his life. David loved to fish and hunt, and was a great fan of NASCAR and WWE.
David is survived by his daughter Amanda Fassett Stumph of Richfield, UT, son David Harley Stumph of Spooner, WI, three grandchildren: Ashlynn, Bodie, and Mylee, seven sisters: Judith (Richard) Judge of Columbia Heights, MN, Candace Erickson of Hutchinson, MN, Cynthia Turner of Griffen, GA, Marilyn LeMone of Duluth, MN, Jennifer (Jamie) Johnson of Hastings, MN, Katie (Leon) Hanson of Spooner, WI, Kari Lohse of Blaine, MN, three brothers: Raymond (Rosemary) Stumph of Spooner, John (Melissa) Stumph of Cheyenne, WY, Joe (Lesa) Stumph of Vadnais Heights, MN, 28 nephews and nieces, and 25 great nephews and nieces.
David is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Irene, brother Girard Stumph, and sister Charlotte Lund.
Funeral Services for David Stumph were held on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 3pm, at the Dahl Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Starr officiating. Interment was at the Spooner Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers were Kenny Christner, Leon Hanson, Carl Dixon, and his many nieces and nephews.
