Donald R Schricker

Don was born on October 20, 1924, in on the old family farm in Spooner.

He grew the best corn in the county and beyond. Everyone he knew and loved remembers him delivering corn and a smile. He also made a wonderful pumpkin pie and again, shared with many friends. He loved old western movies, his cats, and traveling. He also loved Australia where he spent many winters. There, he met and married Veronica Shea.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sister.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Schricker.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Dahl’s Funeral Home, 221 Elm St., Spooner, followed by burial at the Spooner Cemetery. Pastor Emery Johnson will officiate.

Pall bearers will be John Leddel, Jon Schricker, Phillip Shea, Daniel Grochowski, and Jim Martin.
