Glenna Carlson, age 71, currently residing in Spooner, WI & Weslaco, TX, passed away Sat. Sept 3, 2011. Preceded in death by son Robert Carlson. Survived by loving husband, Edward; daughters, Sandie (Phil) Johnson, Sharon (Mick) Saul; daughter-in-law Sheila (Rudy) Youngbauer; son Scott Bassett; grandchildren, Cyndi (Tom) Armstrong, Jenna (Travis) Totz, Jackie Carlson; sister-in-laws Margie Zieska & Monica Carlson; many nieces, nephews, friends, & special Ascot poodles: Favor, Rose, Penny, and Infinity. Glenna was a teacher in the Minneapolis Public Schools before retiring to live her passion of breeding & showing Ascot Standard Poodles in Webster, WI. She was show chairperson of the National Poodle Club of America Convention for many years before retiring due to health complications.
