I remember Heather's joy at being included in our EMT training sessions. She was always willing to be the "victim" for us to practice splinting on....And we all  enjoyed doing CPR on stuffed animals and pillows.!! Her lovely spirit helped care for Betty....and  gave joy to all who met her. My sympathies to you all. She blessed us all.

Tammy, I know Heather is watching you and cheering you on as you go through the whole process of grieving and moving through it to a more complete place. Part of that process is accepting the love and support you get from your friends, and you are doing that. Please know I am here for you and pray for you every day.

It has now been 3 weeks since I discovered that you left this world to move on to a much better one and, it still really hasn't sunk in.  I feel numb and embarrassed that I have not even had time to truly grieve your loss yet; there has been, and still is, SO much to be done (still keeping your place going and dealing with bills, over 100 Thank You cards to be written, all the problems with SS but, I know that you are aware of all of this).

As I went through this book again, reading all of the wonderful entries, I hope that you were reading them over my shoulder and realizing just how VERY much you were loved and how much you will be missed by so many.  You may not have realized how much you were cared for in this life but I hope that you realize it now.

I don't even know what else to say just now except that I LOVE you VERY much and I SOOO miss you!!

Today is the day my father was born, and now, in my mind, my thoughts of him are linked with thoughts of Heather and of you and your family. I know about missing those little things -- I used to call my Dad every afternoon from work when he was working just to chat for a few minutes. Even now, I miss being able to do that.

I have read all the wonderful entries in this guest book and wish I had known Heather. Maybe we WILL meet some day when we all meet the people and animals we knew and loved. I, too, like to think that she and Butch are both keeping each other company as they watch over you. Please know that I consider it an honor to call you my friend and I share your sorrow as if I were there in person to hold your hand and hug you. My favorite memory of Heather is from when she was a little girl. My wife and I were up visiting the family at the old homestead on Middle MacKenzie Lake. Heather wanted to visit and go around naming everyone. Capturing the memory of children working their magic is one of the great joys of life and one Ill always remember.

My best friend (aka, sista), Todd and dear family members, 

Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the sudden loss of Heather. You know I love you with all my heart and will be there for you to offer strength and support. 

I have very fond memories of Heather spanning many years. One activity I know she really enjoyed involved our regular luncheons whenever I returned to the Spooner area. She knew the routine; she knew the location; she knew we'd order our standard “chicken nachos” (along with many other snacks) – sometimes, ever so challenging to acquire but we always got what we asked for, didn't we?! 

Then there was the usual “ribbing” Heather would get from my husband, Jim and our friend Brian during our BBQs.  However, what I found particularly entertaining was how she could dish out the ribbing even better than my husband could.  It was quite a comical exchange.

Please hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends and family for strength, and always remember how much you are loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I remember Heather's first visit to our resort. She quickly became best friends with my daughter Paula as they played Barbie dolls on the cabin porch. We looked forward to her visit every year for the next 25 years. Resort owners meet a lot people and make a lot of friends. But they were one of the rare families we would actually take the day off to spend time with, horseback riding, tubing and eating out.Thanks for the memories.

He has called her home. He has made her brand new in Him. When you see each other again, you will be made whole and brand new. It will be a happy day even though today may not be so happy for you. My heart hugs yours Tammy.

I just read the guest book.  Seems as though good people really do go young.  I am glad I was able to meet Heather and for that matter you as well.  It was just a chance meeting we had so many years ago when you had your horse.  Know that I don't really know how you are affected and don't pretend to.  After all I have never been a mother who lost a child.  I was at my mother's side when she lost my brother and sister within one year to lung cancer.  I had to pick her up a few times. I know that I have already signed this but, I am finding as each day passes that I am missing you more and more!  I am discovering so many things that I hadn't originally thought of; our talks every morning, discussing shows that we both watch, shopping or picking items up for you when I was in town.  I find myself looking at the clock each morning and thinking that it's about the time you would always call.  There are SO many things throughout each day that we shared together.  There is just such a huge void in my life!

Heather was such a caring and kind individual.  I was lucky to have her as my aide while teaching an after school class at the Elementary School.  We will all miss her so much.  I count her as a friend and know she is a shining star in heaven.

I remember Heather when I was in Spooner High School. She was so kind to everybody. Praying for Heathers whole family through this very difficult loss at this moment . May God Bless Everybody from this day forward.
