

JoAnne Olive Postl was born on July 18, 1930, in Minong, Wisconsin to parents Alfred Vetus and Lilah Fern (Devonport) Postl. She attended and graduated from the Minong Schools and furthered her education by receiving a degree as an operating room tech from U.W. LaCrosse. She worked for St. Louis County in Duluth, MN for many years until her retirement. On October 30, 1948, she was united in marriage to Almer Earl “Pard” Adams II.
JoAnne is survived by her children: Mike (Lynda) Adams of Hancock, MI, Kim Adams of Baldwin, WI, Pete Adams of Chippewa Falls, WI, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers: Kermit “Gub” (Laurane) Postl of Disney, OK, Roger (Claudia) Postl of Gordon, WI, sister Carole Moran of Fairfax, VA, sister-in-law Jeanie Miller of Trego, WI, and numerous nephews and nieces.
JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Almer “Doc” Adams III, and sister Eileen Slinker.
Honorary casket bearers will be Dan Adams, Rick Postl, John Kurowicki, Josh Kurowicki, Keith Postl, and Rodney Slinker.
