Myron Byron Sweeny

Myron B. Sweeny was born July 20, 1936 in the Town of Weston. He lived in Earl, WI, until 1946 and upon the death of his father, moved to the Menomonie area. Mike worked for the City of Menomonie as a Firefighter from September 1963 until June 1990. He then worked at Mills Fleet Farm from 1992 until 1999, when he and his wife Sandra retired to Rice Lake, WI.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra (Loveless); Laurie (Maitland) Brempell and their children Michael and David Brempell; Robin (Ricky) Melland and their children Jordan Weber, Derrick (Ashley) Melland, and Ashley Melland; Juli Sweeny; Vicki (Dale) Weber and their children Bryce, Chayce, and Pyrce Weber; 2 bonus great grandchildren Mason Melland and Mikaela Paulson; and his brothers: Ken, Jim, Norm, Elroy, and Lloyd Sweeny. Mike also leaves behind the residents and staff at Barron Care and Rehab that were his friends and were so caring.

Casket bearers will be his grandchildren: Michael and David Brempell, Jordan Weber, Bryce, Chayce, and Pyrce Weber.
