

Paul was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to parents Victor and Elizabeth Nedland. He graduated from Ladysmith High School where he excelled in Football and Wrestling and later went on to earn degrees in Graphic Arts and Business Design from WWTC in La Crosse. On May 7, 1977, he was united in marriage to Fawn Albert at Christian Harbor Youth Camp near Lake Holcombe, Wisconsin, and then the couple moved to Superior. Paul’s work and God’s hand took the family to many places during the next 26 years including: Cadott, Boyd, Ladysmith, Bruce, Anoka, MN, Mora, MN, Kansas, OK, Superior, and since 2003, Minong. Paul was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association for 30 years where he enjoyed his love of service under God,and ministering to others through his love of motorcycles. He loved kids and was involved with the Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed deer and squirrel hunting, fishing, and was active in building homes for Habitat for Humanity in many of the states he lived in, and also was instrumental in opening the ReStore in Spooner, where he was manager. Paul was a humble man of God and was very active at The River Church in Minong.
Paul is survived by his wife Fawn, sons: Christopher Lee (Tedra) of Milaca, MN, Eric Michael of Conrath, WI, Chad J. (Amy) of Trego, WI, 9 grandchildren: Tyler, Christopher Jr., Alix, Eric Jr., Matthew, Paul, Isabel, Andrew, Brian, brothers: Jack (Gerri) of Barron, WI, Dan (Rhonda) of Oberlin, KS, Fred of North Branch, MN, Sam (Sonja) of East Bethel, MN, Joe (PJ) of Anchorage, AK, step sisters: Colleen (Bob) Christiansen of Apple Valley, MN, Molly (Jeff) Paulson of Michigan, and many nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services for Paul Nedland will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 3pm, at The River Church in Minong, with Pastor Ben Kidder officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-3pm, at The River Church.
