
After a long fight with cancer, Suzanne "Susie" Radtke won her battle on June 18th and went to be with her Lord and Savior. Suzanne resided in Spooner, Wisconsin and was lovingly cared for by her family and the Spooner Health System until her passing.
Suzanne was born on December 9, 1944 to Dwight and Josephine (Edmonds) Poquette. She was united in marriage to Robert Radtke on November 24, 1962. They lived and raised their children in Elmwood, Wisconsin.
She worked for CESA in Elmwood and Turtle Lake where she retired to Cyclone Lake in Spooner, Wisconsin in 1998. She worked part time for the Spooner Health System until July of 2011.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends and found enjoyment in Laughlin and Las Vegas, NV and Biloxi, Mississippi.
She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert. Two children, Daughter Machelle, (Lonnie Pierce), Elmwood, Wisconsin and Son Christopher, Spooner, Wisconsin. Two Grandchildren, Amber Radtke, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and Tanner Pierce, Elmwood, Wisconsin. Sister, Mealnie (Fritz) Meacham, Spooner, Wisconsin, brother, Ellis Poquette, Elmwood, Wisconsin, and brother William (Dee) Poquette, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, brother, Jeffrey Poquette; an infant brother Edward; and one daughter, Tracey Wolfe.
Services will be held at Dahl Funeral Home, 221 Elm Street, Spooner, Wisconsin on Friday, June 22, 2012. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
