Allen served his country through service in the Army Reserves and the Navy, carrying forward a steady sense of duty and commitment that remained evident throughout his life. He will be remembered as a beloved presence to those who knew him, and for a generosity that was offered quietly, sincerely, and without expectation.
Allen was the son of Louise Gatti Cucksey and John Cucksey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda May Cucksey; his brother, Michael Cucksey; his sister, Patricia Cucksey Williams; his sons, Anthony Allen Cucksey and Allen F. Cucksey Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Connie Sportiello, Christina Sportiello, and Melissa Mathis, and his son-in-law, Stephen Feckishazy.
