He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 16, 1943. Anthony graduated from Hampton High and later received a business degree. Anthony was married to Joyce Cummings for 46 years until her passing in 2008. On April 2, 2010 he married Ginny Brown- Waite.
Anthony worked in the retail industry for Firestone and later founded “Old Time Coffee” in Pittsburgh. He was a member of several yacht clubs and had a passion for boating and cars.
He is preceded in death by his son Matthew Selvaggio. He was survived by his children Michael Selvaggio and Kristiann Keller, his several grandchildren in the Pittsburgh and Pottstown, PA areas, his brother Joseph Selvaggio, and his sisters Maria Berzonski, Lucia Hecht, and Michael Heard.
