

Lt. Commander August G. Foreman, Jr, U.S. Navy, Retied, passed away September 9th, 2020, Spring Hill, Florida. He was born in Denver Colorado on January 8th, 1928. August had a career in the U.S. Navy for 27 years, seeing duty in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. After the war, he had a gas station in Denver and then was hired at the Bremerton Shipyard in Washington. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #0186, Spring Hill, Florida. He had a passion for dancing, automobiles, and was a racecar driver in the early days of NASCAR. Then had his own racing team of card and drivers. August was predeceased by his wife Anna Faye Brogan Foreman. Augie is survived by his daughter Valerie Kimi Beatty, and son August Gene Foreman, both of Modesto, California. Brother Lloyd Lee Foreman of Hawaii, Sisters Virginia Herbert and Helen Lee, both of Littleton, Colorado, Lavall June Foreman of West Minister, Colorado. Grandchildren, Miles Jeffrey Beatty, Chloe Kiani Soto, Derek Foreman. Great-grandchildren Kiani Noelle Soto and Logan Foreman. His wife Anna had 3 daughters, Denise Brogan-Kator of New Port Richey, Florida, Debra Brogan Trott of Centennial, Colorado and Barbara Brogen Thurmond of Denver Colorado. As well as Grandchildren Jennifer, Amanda, Melody, Marcus, Shanna Rose, and Ryan. Great-grandchildren Arian and Sapphire. He is also survived by his Significant Other of 12 years, Patricia Ann Lindsay. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date at Fort Logan, Colorado.
