Carmen Laura Noble

Born and raised in The Bronx to Ramon and Carmen Rodriguez, Carmen was a woman of intellect, deep faith, dedication, and vibrant spirit. She attended Central Commercial High School before pursuing her passion for teaching. As a working mother, she achieved a major milestone by earning her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fordham University in 1974, followed by her Master's Degree in Education from Hunter College in 1979.

Carmen dedicated her career to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher, spending the majority of her impactful career at P.S. 9 in The Bronx. On June 5, 1954, she married the love of her life, Carlos Ramon Noble. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family and love.

Carmen brought an energetic joy to everything she did. She loved traveling to casinos, with Las Vegas and Atlantic City being her favorite destinations. At home, she was always active, whether she was calling out "Bingo!", getting lost in the pages of a Danielle Steel romance novel, or masterfully playing games on her laptop.

Carmen’s greatest pride was her large, loving family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her husband, Carlos Ramon Noble, and her grandson, David Anthony Lopez.

She is survived by her children, Eric Noble (Martha), Elizabeth Noble, and Emily Rodriguez (Manny); her cherished grandchildren, Jason Noble (Rachel), Steven Noble, and Angela Lang (Jason); and her adored great-grandchildren, Avery, Ryan, Nathaniel, Lillian, and Calvin. She leaves behind a legacy of education, strength, and love.

• Burial: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
