Carole A Smith (90), formerly of Spring Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16th in Knoxville, TN. She was born on November 26, 1933 to the late Joseph and Anna Urso in New York City, growing up in Manhattan. Carole was married to the love of her life, Donald W Smith, for 27 years until his passing in 1990. After moving to Florida in 1977, Carole worked as a secretary and retired from Monarch Homes in Spring Hill.
Carole is survived by her seven (7) children, John Johnson, Carl Johnson (Sue), Barbara Bacior (Mike), Joseph Smith (JoAnne), Cindy Smith, Douglas Smith (Kyong), and Paul Smith (Stacey); and two (2) stepdaughters, Donna Adams (Ron) and Susan Bradley.
She is also survived by her eleven (11) grandchildren; seven (7) great grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Carole will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
