Carroll was born December 21, 1944 in Waterville, ME, and graduated from Hartford High School. He married Geri Violette on February 7, 2003 and retired as a Civil Engineer from the City of Hartford, CT. Carroll was a member of the VFW and had a passion for sports and playing pool.
He is survived by his wife, Geri; step-sons, Leonard (Tammy) Venditti and Mark (Eileen) Venditti; grandchildren, Ashley Venditti (fiance Matt Weber), Autumn Venditti (fiance Luke Pelletier), Rebecca Venditti (fiance Danny Alcantar) and Brandon Venditti; special nephew, John (Kacey) Violette; and siblings, Jerry Violette and Elaine Sullivan.
Services will be private at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
