Catherine Konetzny, 96, passed away on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 in Lecanto, FL. A native New Yorker, Catherine was born in Jamaica, NY to the late Rudolph and Ursula deLutio. Her career as an executive secretary spanned over fifty-five years, and she used her skills for corporate enterprises and in her later years, for the military. She was a 20 year resident of Orlando, FL before moving to the Nature Coast of FL. She was a wonderful lady, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She graced this world and her family with her love, charm, wit and style for almost 97 years. It will be difficult to imagine life without her. Catherine will be dearly missed, but there is comfort in knowing that she is in a better place. May she rest in peace with our Lord. She will be reunited with her beloved sister, Mildred Miller. Survivors include her son, Robert Konetzny; daughter-in-law, Kathy Konetzny; grandsons, Michael and Thomas (spouse, Jennifer); and great-grandchildren, Blake and Olivia.

Grandma/Gee Gee

You lived your life as strong independent woman and were an inspiration to all of us. Though we didn’t see you on a regular basis your love was always visible. Our times together were that much more special and precious. Your endless love will continue to be with us and we will miss you terribly. May you Rest In Peace. All our love,
The Konetzny Family

The loss a parent touches you in many ways. The sorrow that engulfs you, the joy of knowing that they are at peace, the memories of all you have shared together and so much more.

Catherine was a Mom to me for almost 30 years. I am so sad to have to say goodbye to her. She was a beautiful, elegant and loving woman. I will miss her her smile, our talks and of course, sharing a few Rob Roy’s together. Rest In Peace Catherine, the memories we shared together will live eternally in me.

Love,
Kathy
