Charles "Carl" Triolo was born at home on December 26, 1928 in Greenpoint, NY. At birth he was caused to be blind in one eye, yet he never let that be an issue in his life nor did he ever dwell on that. He was the only child of Margaret and Phillip Triolo. He was a loving and devoted husband to Bertha Triolo. When she was unable to care for herself he didn't hesitate for a minute to care for her every need. He did everything possible to make her comfortable and gave her his unconditional love. When she was gone he went to the cemetery and sat at her gravesite every day for years. In 1955 their first born, Kathleen "Kathy" was born. No one will deny that she looked like a little china doll! In 1957 they bought a home on Long Island and into their world their twins, Doris and Dorothy were born. He loved having his girls. He was a musician and could sing like Frank Sinatra and could play the drums like Buddy Rich! He could have went on the road with the "Big Bands" but instead chose not to be away from his family and found work at Colesman, but his music became his weekend job! He played in nightclubs and was a "master of ceremonies" at weddings and affairs and gave people, friends and family memories to treasure all the days of their lives. He eventually was employed by Grumman and became the #1 drummer in the Grumman Band. He is remembered by thousands of people for the joys of his performances with the band. Grumman was an aerospace company and known for the family oriented events they brought to their employees. He leaves us with wonderful and memorable times at the Grumman Picnic where he was a "star". He provided well for his family and was thought of by all who knew him to be the purest person you would ever want to know! He didn't drink, his worst curse words he would say was "You dirty bird" or "Beans and Macaroni". He was a devoted Catholic and taught us how to pray and gave us morals to live by! He was who we all would love to be! He is pre-deceased by his wife, Bertha Triolo; daughter, Kathy Corbett; grandson, Craig Corbett; and grandson, Elijah Corbett. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Bill Pedus; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Frank Kraft; son-in-law, Chuck Corbett; grandchildren, Chuckie Corbett, Billy Pedus, Krysti Corbett, Craig Corbett, Linda Kraft, Dawn Pedus, Frankie Kraft, Courtney Corbett, Darren Corbett and Alexis Corbett; and great grandchildren; CJ Corbett, Thomas Corbett, Matthew Corbett, Craig Corbett, Ricky Corbett and Kaiden Corbett.
