Colleen Mabel (Wellinghoff) Sirianni, 87 years of age of Spring Hill, FL and formerly of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10th, 2017. She was born in Trenton, NJ on August 14th, 1930 to the late Laura Flanagan and Harry Wellinghoff. Colleen lived in High Bridge, NJ until she married Salvatore Sirianni Sr. in 1948. Soon after the wedding, they moved to Washington, NJ and Colleen worked at Tung Sol Electric until she completed her schooling for cosmetology. She worked for a period of time before receiving her beautician’s license and opening her own salon. Colleen owned and operated her own shop for 30 years. She moved to Spring Hill, FL where she thought she would retire but instead she taught at Pasco/Hernando Community College. She liked hair shows, cruising, parties and getting together with family. She was a member of the Washington Township Fire Co. Warren County, NJ; the Ladies Auxiliary and the New Jersey Club of Spring Hill, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore and her brother, James Flanagan. Survivors include son, Salvatore and wife, Corinne of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren, Michael Sirianni and wife, Tara of Spring Hill, FL and Nicole Klotz and husband Mark of Easton, PA; two great-grandsons, David Sirianni and Zander Klotz; sisters, Kathleen Neal of Downey, CA and Patricia Mull of Ocala, FL. Colleen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17th, from 4-6 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 18th, at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, FL. Burial at Florida National Cemetery to directly follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Colleen’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org.
