He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 7, 1954. Dane graduated from Austintown Fitch and received a degree from Youngstown State University and Pasco-Hernando Community College.
He was married to Carol Carder on July 20, 1985.
Dane was a maintenance director at Atria Assisted Living in Spring Hill where he retired from at age 65.
He has a passion for baseball, football, and golf.
He was survived by his children Dane and Jason, sister Diana Alvino, brother-in-law Tony, two nieces Alison and Andrea and their families.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Youngstown, Ohio in the spring at Calvary Cemetery where burial will be held.
