Daniel B. Humes

He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to John and Eleanor Humes. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1967. He was a US Navy veteran and of the Christian faith. He was the owner and operator of his own pool and spa business called Water Bug Pools and Spas. He was a member of the Ducks Unlimited Club, had a passion for nature, scuba diving and loved animals. He was an avid football fan, specially his New England Patriots. He married the love of his life Bernice on March 17, 1985. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his by his brother John R. Humes.

Survived by his loving wife of 39 years Bernice M. Humes, son John R. Humes and wife Penny, mother-in-law Marie Jackson, sister-in-law Kathy Humes, grand-puppy Vito, niece Sandra Hewson husband Jake and grandnephew Jagger Hewson.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A committal service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, 14360 Spring Hill, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
