Darrell was always fun to have around our auction house. He was always on the prowl for his next treasure and happy to talk about whatever was up for bid. He would light up when something he was interested in came up to bid and quite often took it home at the end of the sale.
 We became good friends over the years with him and Cathy and are happy to have had him as part of our lives. 
Whatever lays ahead of you Darrell I'm sure you'll make the most of it! Thanks for the laughs and good times!

I always saw Darrell as the father I never had. He was one of a kind , and a great friend. When I started working with him 11 years ago he was instantly someone I could confide in. Whenever i told him stories about my daughters he’d say “I love those kids , you know that?!” , it made me smile every time. It breaks my heart I won’t hear him sing again, especially ‘shakin’ by Eddie money , he’d rock out to that song. God bless Darrell and his family who he loved so much. Enjoy yourself brother , you are home now. I love you. Keep on shakin.

I'm so sorry! I can't believe it! Everything went so fast! He was just here at work a couple months ago. He was excited to go to Florida and have a change. I've worked with the both of you in a couple different Costcos over the years, from the 1990s in Federal Way, to Gig Harbor. I remember Darrell being my forklift driver when I was a stocker and now we worked together both as forklift drivers in Gig Harbor. He was always nice to me. Sometimes we would talk politics or just work stuff! He was a good guy and he will be missed! Cathy if there is anything I can do please let me know! I love you! ❤️
