David was born to Edmund and Diana Pelletier in East Hartford, Connecticut, where he spent his childhood and younger years. He attended Penney High School and later enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he proudly built a career dedicated to service. He eventually made his way to Florida, where he began the next chapter of his life.
David's zest for life could be found in his love of cooking, music, and golf, but above all else, in his unwavering dedication to his family. Gatherings at Dave's were often filled with belly laughs, good food, music, and karaoke—memories that will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
David leaves behind his loving mother, Diana Pelletier; his sisters, Jacqueline Bradley and Diane O'Reilly; his brother, Ronald Pelletier, and sister-in-law, Joann; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunt, as well as dear friends who, over the years, became family. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Frank, who was more like a brother to him than a friend.
David leaves his daughter, Sarah; his stepsons, Matthew and wife Jessica and Royce Yoemans; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Ava, Silas, Autumn, Elise, and Elijah. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Winston.
David also leaves behind the Samson family, who held a special place in his heart and remained a cherished part of his family throughout the years.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Samson Pelletier father, Edmund Pelletier; his nephew, Dennis Perry; his cousins, Michael and Stephen Pelletier; whom he missed dearly every day after their passing.
The family asks that you join us in remembering Dave in the way that suited him best—not simply with mourning, but with a celebration of his life.
