Dennis Reed Hanvey

He and his beloved wife Andrea “Canzano” Hanvey were together for 43 years and married 39 of those years. They have three sons, Richard S. Hanvey, Michael R. Hanvey and wife Stephanie and Kyle Hanvey.

He has 10 grandchildren that he adored and one brother Patrick Hanvey and wife Darlene, sister Joanne Hanvey husband Donald Wilgus, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Hanvey, mother Violet “Hepner” Hanvey, grandmother Anna “Smith DiBugno and mother-in-law Jane Canzano Martinez

Dennis loved Amateur (Ham) Radio (N2VYJ) and belonged to the Atlantic Watch in NJ. He enjoyed playing traditional Celtic music with his bag pipes. He was a volunteer Fire Fighter and belonged to Aberdeen Twp Hose and Chemical Co. #1 for 16 years where he rose to the rank of Deputy Chief.

Dennis also worked for the Corset Shop North NJ for 27 years, and was currently store manager at Race Track Petrol Fox Hollow Port Richey, Florida for 9 years.

Dennis was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was the best POP ever.
