Diane was born on April 8, 1963, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Arthur John Dombro and Gretchen Irene Dombro (née Vollmer). She graduated from North Plainfield High School in North Plainfield, New Jersey, and Concordia College in Bronxville, New York.
Diane spent 40 years serving as a called educator in the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). Throughout her decades of ministry, she taught elementary school at Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Fords, New Jersey; Redeemer Lutheran School in Westfield, New Jersey; and Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Tampa, Florida. Through her many years of teaching, she touched and shaped hundreds of lives. Diane married Daniel Frusco on August 25, 1984, and together they shared 42 years of marriage and two children.
She loved to read and write and was a gifted storyteller. Above all else, Diane loved God and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher, coworker, and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, generosity, strength, and steadfast Christian faith.
