

Born on July 5, 1944, Donald lived a life defined by strength, integrity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. In 1963, he joined the United States Navy, proudly serving as an Aviation Ordnance man aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. He carried the values of honor, discipline, and dedication throughout his life.
In 1974, Donald moved his family to Sandown, New Hampshire, where he personally built the family home in which his children were raised. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Sandown Fire Department and
Rescue Squad, and as a member of the Sandown Board of Selectmen.
Donald was known for his quiet strength, generosity, and willingness to help others. Whether serving his country, his community, or his family, he lived a life of integrity, compassion, and selfless service. Despite significant health challenges in his later years, Donald faced each obstacle with courage and dignity. He deeply appreciated the compassionate care he received through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Donald leaves behind family members, dear friends, and cherished memories. His legacy of service, leadership, perseverance, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of all wh knew him.
