

Born on February 5, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, Donald lived a life defined by dedication, integrity, wisdom, and love for his family. He was married to the love of his life, Judith Ann Secker, for 67 wonderful years. Together they built a strong and loving family and shared a lifetime of memories.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Judith; his son, Mark Donald Secker; and his daughter, Dawn Rae Secker.
Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a corporate accountant. He earned his business degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, an accomplishment that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Outside of his professional life, Donald found great joy in sailing. He spent many years sailing his own boat and later enjoyed racing remote-controlled sailing yachts, a hobby that brought him both friendship and happiness.
Donald was widely respected for his practical wisdom and thoughtful guidance. Family, friends, and colleagues often sought his advice because they knew he would always offer the right way to do something - not necessarily the quickest or easiest way, but the honest and proper way. His steady character, intelligence, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all whose lives he touched.
