Doris Judith Hisey, age 86, formerly of Brooksville passed away under the care of HPH Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, FL. She is the wife of John L. Hisey of Spring Hill, FL. Born in Racine, WI she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Judith Hamers. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Brooksville, FL. She enjoyed playing cards with her lady friends as well as golf with her husband. She was the organizer of an Aquacise group in Brooksville, FL. But most of all she took care of everyone else. She will be deeply missed by her husband, John and daughters: Lorraine Knox of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Patricia Luedke of Oconomowac, WI. She has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister: Elizabeth Hurtibise of Racine, WI. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 20248 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34601. There will be a viewing at the church from 9:00 Am till the time of Mass. Entombment will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, 14354 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
