Not many of us get a chance to have a second mom, but I did! After my mother passed, Elba was a mom to me. “How are you sweetheart” was always her first concern when speaking to 
me. A kinder, gentler, more loving mom to me could not have been found. I will always carry Elba’s unconditional love with me. I hope to honor Elba by living a kinder, gentler, loving life. Thank you Elba for showing by your example what can and does make a better world.

Warm memories:  sitting by the pool, sipping and chipping nuts. It was fun comparing  children growing and changing to our future leaders of the world.    , which is still time  waiting for their wisdom!    How  we discussed current events. Cooking, I just listened,  sewing but today she could see my first quilt almost completed..  We shared Gods love, peace and happiness. One of life’s great gifts: friends.  So till we meet at the feet of our Savior.  All of us  also have so much to see in the future.  God bless you all.

I called my Aunt Elba, "Titi", she was my godmother and that made me feel very lucky. She was beautiful, spirited, funny and loving! Titi would kiss me so hard and I felt truly loved.  She was a great cook and our families spent many fun times together. Horror films and wrestling were her thing and I loved sitting with her and my cousins, Billy and Jeffrey, being allowed to watch (and scream and laugh) with them. She was a talented seamstress, one day she made me a beautiful skirt using fabric from an old skirt of hers- I was a teenager at the time but I still have the skirt! I love you my beautiful Titi and feel so fortunate to have had you in my life. XXOO
