

Estela was a proud graduate of St. Anselm, where she distinguished herself as the first student in her school history to achieve a perfect score on the Regents examination—an accomplishment that reflected her lifelong dedication to learning and excellence.
She was married to the love of her life, Edward Gaeta. Together they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on December 10, 2025, a remarkable milestone that spoke to their enduring love, commitment, and devotion to one another.
Estela devoted her professional career to education, serving as an administrative assistant to the Superintendent of Schools within a public school system. Her work reflected her strong values, integrity, and belief in the importance of education and service.
A woman of deep faith, Estela found great joy in her family and friends. She cherished time spent with loved ones and was known for her warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Gaeta; her sons, Michael and Edward Gaeta; and her daughter, Clare Swift. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and happiness in her life.
Estela will be remembered for her faith, love of family, dedication to education, and the lasting legacy she leaves in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, located at 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609, on January 4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Vigil Service will take place at the same venue on January 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for January 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
