Fred A. Bowie, 88, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Monday, May 2, 2016. He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Ian and Jean Bowie. Fred enjoyed traveling and baseball, but his true passion was for numbers. Fred was a Sunday school teacher and church treasurer, back home in New Jersey prior to moving to Florida. He was an accountant for United States Steel Company and was a US Army veteran. Fred will be dearly missed by his loving friends and family. He is survived by his son John F. Bowie and wife Patricia; daughter Kathryn Morrison and husband James; sister Shirley Edwards and husband William; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
