My most sincere condolences to Linda and the rest of Gary's family.  Gary was one of my closest friends on the last 10 years. To this day, I am still in schock of his final departure. It seems unfair and surrealistic.  You were much too young to leave us this soon.  You will always be remembered as a great friend.  Rest in peace, my friend.

Oh Gary! You left this world too soon. I can remember with fond recollections of the hundreds of hours we spent in our college days watching movies and tales from the crypt. This is particularly jarring because now that I'm back in Florida, I was trying to find you and meet up with you again. I'm praying for you my friend!!!

Most of my memories include booze, blood, Blue Oyster Cult and B-rated movies.  The way Gary would want it.
His health was rotten  and this might be for best, but I am selfish and wanted more decades to hang out with my Eerie buddy.
I will miss you, my dearest friend.
