Gene Ephriem Earley, Sr., age 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great-grandfather, and the respected head of his family.
Gene proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. A Southern Baptist, he felt blessed to have lived a long and meaningful life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Earley; his four children, Patti, Sharon, Ken, and Gene; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children, and 3 great great-grandchildren .
Gene will be remembered for his faith, service, strength, love of family, and deep love of nature. His family is grateful for the many years they were blessed to have him in their lives.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, June 5, 2026 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 1:00-2:00pm, Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Merritt Funeral Home Spring Hill, 4095 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
