Henry N. Yaeger Sr.,of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Queens, New York, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, retired FDNY Lieutenant from Engine 326 and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at the age of 91.
Henry served his country with honor on active duty for four years in the United States Navy before dedicating his life to protecting New York City for 30 years as a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department. His life was a testament to service and love of his family and country.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Yaeger and loving father of Ann and Peter Tellini, Laura and Anthony Kanaris, and Henry and Jennifer Yaeger.
Adored Papa to Jonathan (Amanda), Jennifer (Dominic), Christopher (Sharon), Daniel, Megan (Matthew), Thomas, Kathryn, Jacqueline (Joshua), Anthony and Abigail.
Cherished great-grandfather to ten.

A visitation for Henry will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A service will occur Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A graveside will occur Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
